NEW YORK -- Baseball commissioner Bud Selig is ignoring calls to move the 2011 All-Star Game from Phoenix because of Arizona's new immigration law.

Me too. If you find one, please let me know!
good!
With polls like these, it is a really bad idea to go against your fans.
Hang together or die separately.
They’ll turn up the heat. He’ll cave.................
Good for him. I’m boycotting Los Angeles just for being stupid. Anyone else?
Bud will probably do something stupid to placate them, like inviting a thousand illegals to the game and letting them hold a demonstration on the field on national TV. Or having both teams wear “Los Suns” jerseys, or something.
I did find the address, but so far I haven’t found an email. I’ll keep trying.
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball
Allan H. (Bud) Selig, Commissioner
245 Park Avenue, 31st Floor
New York, NY 10167
Phone: (212) 931-7800
My guess is that baseball is already facing enough financial challenges that it doesn’t need to deal with all the nonsense that comes when mixing sports with politics.
I’m with ya!

Or Jackie Robinson like, he can force EVERY team to have a La Raza insignia on their shoulder, in perpetuity.....
I remember the Olympics of 1984...lots of room to park and no congested freeways.
Once every 20 years it pays off to have a do-nothing commissioner.
Good point. I wonder if the LA city council has considered how many visits from Arizona tourists they’re going to lose because of their boycott of AZ business.

Yeah, only the NFL is financially strong enough to engage in that misadventure; fending off a perfectly qualified owner because of a few ignorant, racist big mouths.
Yeah, it’s that and I think Selig and the team owners are concerned about angering the fans in Arizona and really hurting the Arizona Diamondbacks franchise. If they move the game, that also sets a precedent of reacting to political events, and once MLB starts to do that then when does it end?
I still won’t cut him any slack if he introduces instant replay. :)
There is instant replay in baseball. It only covers disputed home runs, but it does exist.
He should never have been in the position. Today he got one right. But I agree with the otheres. He’ll oput Mexican flags on the unis or some other BS. Our national past time.
