% of supporters don’t mean sh-t since we don’t live in a mobocracy. The fact remains that while I and nearly everyone else on this site support the intent of this law, there are also those of us who know that it will be thrown out in court for being in violation of existing civil rights law and legal precedent.
Since this law is basically copied word for word from the already existing FEDERAL laws, why would it be thrown out? Does that mean they’ll throw out the FEDERAL laws as well, leaving our country defenseless against illegal immigration?!?
Are illegals entitled to these rights under our Constitution? I thought that was for legal citizens of the US. If they can't be held for being here illegally, then what good is the law that says it is illegal to enter and live in the US without going through the proper procedure. How can they be legally prosecuted for breaking US immigration laws? Too bad US citizens get prosecuted for breaking useless insignificant laws all the time, like putting a sign in the wrong place or burning trash without a permit or some other useless $hit.
It will be thrown out based on a perverted and tyrannical interpretation of the Consitution. Az is well within it's rights and any interference by the Federal Government is pure tyranny.
