Just out of curiosity, what employer requires an actual birth certificate? For your privacy, I'm not asking for the name of the employer...just curious as to what field. Retail? Industry? Academic?
I have been with the same company since 1990 and a couple years ago all of us had to again show documentation and either birth certificates or passports had to be shown.
To get my driver’s license in VA last month I had to produce a certified copy of my birth certificate. Marriage license, too. Hope Barry isn’t planning to drive in VA any time soon.
