Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It does not, never has, and never will guarantee you that your pursuit of happiness will ultimately be successful, easy, or quick.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness cannot be guaranteed nor provided by the government. They can best be enabled by the government getting out of the way of and out of the lives of American Citizens.

I think unrealistic expectations are the cancer that consumes Democrats and do gooders. Instead of acknowledging the unprecedented good done by successful charitable capitalists, they focus on the few still in need.
Jesus told us that the poor would always be among us and mere mortals are never going to completely change that.

"Today, politicians literally speak of the "rights" of people as they attempt to guarantee a certain standard of living for their constituent-subjects." Declaration of Independence: ". . . unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

"The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations. ... This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution." Still is.

Not a cushy life Except if you work for Goldman Sachs.
The "Republican" party needs to explain in what way they are different from the American Bolshevik (Democrat) party - since basically they just pass out money for votes to a different demographic.
And when Del Beccarro can articulate something besides "we need to control the borders, but farmers gotta have Messikins to work for them" in California, then I'll listen to him and other trumpeting RINO's from LA.

This is the core of Americanism and what is truly unique and radical about the American Revolution.
Our laws exist to maintain or improve our liberty, nothing more or less.
Safety, health, happiness and personal security are our own responsibility.

Constitution guarantees freedom, not a cushy lifeAnd if you betray Constitutional principles or suspend them for "benefits", you lose freedom because the govt. then rules the decision making process for that part of your life.
Because the govt. now controls the process, there will be no flexibility in the administration of benefits and denial of benefits.
And it can change the rules and increase fines for non-compliance.
