I am reading "Going Rogue." I wish more people would read it. Palin describes governing in a small town, and she's exactly the kind of person I'd vote for and so would anyone with sense, probably. Palin truly understands and respects the moral foundation of less government, of letting people alone, of not using tax money any more than necessary. To the core, her whole political ethic, revolves around front-line stuff. She understands how crippling taxation and regulation is to freedom because she's been there.
My most serious gripe with Palin is her voice, which solely because of her female-ness, is getting shrill. No matter the words that issue forth, when done in a shrill voice, it grates mightily. Sarah, think "Thatcher." Master the tempo and tone of your voice.
“I think an all-female ticket would be a mistake. It’s asking enough of many voters to go for a woman at the top.”
.
I have to agree with that, but its still fun to needle the PDS gang with the Palin/Bachmann jab.
