The Boston Herald thinks theyve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012. Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks it sounds serious, too. The only question would be the order (via Jules Crittenden):
Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.
Sounds pretty good, Palin declared at todays Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.
Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mikes Pastry in the North End, she said she was serious about the idea.
I have a lot of respect for Mitt, she told the Herald.
Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, Ha! I havent even thought that far ahead yet.

oH........good greif what an awful idea. A liberal Democrat in a GOP suit and............Tina Fey’s “Sarah”.
Whoever thought this up should write a book. “How to Lose an Election”. I guarentee whoever it is gets bribe money from Acorn.
Interestingly, I received this disappointing (and stupid) email from a Freeper (NY State - since 2007):
" While I like and admire Sarah Palin I dont believe she is ready for the big show. God love her but her foice goes right through me. I know lots of good Christian, church-going people who like her but hate the fact that she goes hunting. Believe it or not there are many of those people out there. Does that make Palin a bad person? Of course not, but it makes people wobbly.
Hunter and Romney both would be compromisers, and ruin our chance of getting America back.
They’re too accustomed to deal making, instead of winning.
.
Palin/Jindal, Jindal/Palin, Palin/Bachmann. If Romney is on the ticket, the only reaon he’d win is because people are already sick of Obama.
We definitely have our share of nut cases here.
.
I’m not quite there yet, its still two plus years away. But I don’t understand his clinging to it. It doesn’t make sense financially, it doesn’t make sense politically.
Please, Dear God, No.
Ah, no. I wasn’t being sarcastic. Now, if you’ve turned around multi million dollar entities from losing propositions into winning propositions in the business world..maybe YOU can be sarcastic towards that aspect.
I haven’t.
Its one thing to not like the man politically. Its another thing to deny documented fact. Thats what the Dems and this Administration are doing right now. I won’t engage in it.
PALIN/BACHMAN - UNBEATABLE TICKET
(and I predicted Obama was unbeatable ticket in 2006)
Won’t happen-—Sarah has already said in her book that she will never be “second dog” again in whatever she decides to do, since the “view never changes.”
Romney would be too entreched in the good ole’ boy network to accept her as VP. And even at that I’d still be wearing the bumper sticker that says “I voted for Palin”.—not romneycare.
“Palin/Bachmann”
An all-female ticket? The Dems will accuse us of being prejudiced against men.
Why in the heck do the repubs want to do this again? Dole redux. Palin is the only candidate that captures the soul of conservatism. Romney changes colors faster than a squid.
Yes, you are right on.
Any ticket with Romney on the top or bottom is doomed to failure!
JUST SAY NO TO ROMNEY!!
