This warning, along with an announcement that Iran would join the world's nuclear club within a month, raised the pitch of Iranian anti-US rhetoric to a new high Tuesday, April 13, as 47 world leaders gathered in Washington for President Barack Obama's Nuclear Security Summit.
The statement published by Kayhan said: "If the US strikes Iran with nuclear weapons, there are elements which will respond with nuclear blasts in the centers of America's main cities."
For the first time, DEBKAfile's military sources report, Tehran indicated the possibility of passing nuclear devices to terrorists capable of striking inside the United States.

Does anyone else think that A-jad has a micro-penis? just askin’
Hmmm.... Jack Bauer failed to prevent a nuclear bomb from going off in LA!
Emperor-by-Trick Barack Hussein Obama:
"MY new presidential helicopter.
...will let ME cook our meal while America is under nuclear attack."
Now we come to the REAL risk of allowing the ragheads in Iran to have nukes. They will threaten US, not just Israel. In fact, to anyone who has been actually paying attention, wasn’t it just two years ago that Nutjob had the big “conference” in Tehran where the images on the background at the podium were eggs with US and Israeli flags dropping on the surface? What the hell did folks think THAT meant?
Now to the point. The very fact that Iran is threatening the US with that kind of attack for WHATEVER reason is enough to warrant a counter threat from the US President (IF he had the testicular sack to do so) that any attack on the US would be responded to by utter destruction for Iran. The Iranian intent is there and the feasability to do so may or may not exist. Nonetheless, this threat should open the President’s eyes, the problem is, is that he wishes to keep them closed no matter what reality dictates at this time...
DEBKA is the National Enquirer of news. They get it right once in a while but usually like a supermarket tabloid reporting.
I remember that “conference.”. When I’manutjob was speaking at the podium, there was a poster with an hour glass. At the bottom of the hourglass was a broken egg with the flag of the U.S.A. on it. Falling through the narrow top of the hour glass was another egg with the Israeli flag.
The message: “In order to destroy Israel, we must destroy America first.” Looks like Obama is taking care of that.
We should have killed these bastards in 1979

There were reports of small nuclear demolition devices being placed by both sides. Who knows how much of that is true? Anyway, any such device that has been buried for many years would likely be in no condition to be used, though the nuclear materials inside could certainly be reused by terrorists.
Cue the Beach Boys music:
Bomb-Bomb-Bomb, Bomb-Bomb Iran.
Bomb-Bomb-Bomb, Bomb-Bomb Iran.
Bomb-Bomb-Bomb, Bomb-Bomb Iran.
Nah, he'll be too focused on punishing the ruskies for killing Agent Freckles.
Well, I am aware that it is DEBKA, but the threat seems like a logical one. It is one that Obama and the Democrats would have to take seriously since it targets their center of power. If nukes went off in the center of the ten largest cities in the United States it would be difficult for Democrats to win the Presidency or most Senate seats for the next 20 years.
Not because the American people would turn against the Democrat brand, but rather because the majority of the Democrats in the United States *live* in the center of large cities. Just look at a red/blue map broken down by counties. Getting attacked in that manner would decapitate the voter base of the Democrat Pary.
I think the idea is to use them, but make it Israel’s fault for attacking Iran.
