Why Christians should use Bing instead of Google
Google and Bing ^ | 4/4/2010 | Google - Bing

Posted on 04/04/2010 6:44:47 AM PDT by for-q-clinton

Please look at this link: http://www.google.com

and compare it to http://www.bing.com

What did you notice? Google once again is slapping Christians in the face by not representing our holidays. While they will celebrate Muslim holidays and ignore Good Friday in favor of a writer that died decades ago (or was it centuries), bing.com honors the Christian holidays and gives insight into our traditions and faith.

If you don't start using Bing.com they can't improve their search engine to be better than google's. They need the trafic volume so they can analyze the searches to imporve them (as google does). Bing.com is pretty good and I use it as first try. If it fails then I may try google.com.

Fox and Friends highlighted this on Friday with the Good Friday issue and google. Also they have pointed out that google prevents certain searches for muslim info that may make them look bad, while they still allow the same search for Christianity.

Remember compare www.google.com to www.bing.com

Do yourself and our faith a favor and drop-kick google to the curb.

I *use* Google by doing searches via http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm .

I also use Bing. ;-)

Happy Easter!

I refuse to use Google through any engine, even one that doesn’t record you. It still gives Google hits.

I use Bing and IXquick. Because many conservatives have moved to these, they give better hits anyway.

I’m still trying to figure out how ducks relate to our Christian beliefs.
Forgive me if I’m missing something obvious.

Google has its usual display. Dogpile (my preference) the same. Bing has a picture of ducklings.

Which one is Christian?

(Kind of surprised at Dogpile, but I use Google as last resort)

I use Bing first for everything, including pictures to highlight powerpt. presentations, but I still use the Scroggle scraper if I can’t find something specific. I will often use scroggle to search specifically for Christian material...just to add to those type of hits on Google.

;-)

Baby ducks?

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But since you are not of the world, but are called out of the world, the world hates you.

We're not considered on an equal footing with Muslims and Statists, etc., something about which I agree totally. Not on an equal footing with Kwanzaa, etc.?

You betcha!

Sure, it would be nice to have Google present a cartoon empty tomb in the garden, or something, but Christians shouldn't get their validation from the world. This world is passing away, every moment.

And "Bing" honoring Christians with cryptic symbols of anything, fertility, Ishtar, whatever, is not blowing my skirt, if you know what I mean.

Isn’t Bing a Microsoft product? Bill Gates derives vast funding from Microsoft that he uses to fund UN culture of death programs (he is the largest contributor) which cause the death of innocent pre-born human beings in the womb.

I really don’t know where Google funds go but I would rather be offended by Google than contribute to UN propulation control agencies by supporting Microsoft.

Christians? Bing is in bed with Microsoft...founded by an avowed atheist. I agree with getting away from Google...but not because of the holy holidays but because of their increasing instrusiveness.

Here’s a good engine as well: The ‘scroogle scraper’...lol and they are in a full fledged war with google. They also do not ‘track’ searches or dump cookies on a system.

http://www.scroogle.org

Bing is lurking on my computer now...which was not my choice. It’s in the address bar and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to eliminate it. I don’t like any company ‘adding’ on to my system when I have no say so in it. Microsoft has no respect for us a users and they are in bed with the U.S. government.

To be more specific, one segment of the Gates Foundation does support UN policies. It’s run by Bill Gates Jr., Bill Gates III’s father. And yes, it’s a significant amount of money.

But the much, much, much larger portion of the Gates Foundation is now run by Bill Gates and his wife Melinda. Melinda is Catholic and has influenced the direction of that funding toward supplying life saving drugs and projects in the third world. In many ways, contradicting the UN. They also provide substantial funds to education.

It’s unfortunate that any of the Gates wealth goes to negative policies but it’s important to note that relatively speaking, it’s a small amount.

I don't like Bing and have the few times I have used it the search results were poor at best especial when I was looking to buy something. Also as evil as Google might be MS is just as evil or worse. SO I say pick your poison.
