Try adding that to the national debt and selling it to the Chinese.
Obama voters are the most uninformed group on earth.
That’s redundant.
Yes, you can buy it.
Klein is a liar.
4K a YEAR??? plus taxes etc. That’s well over another 300 oer month. Where oh where are those living close to the pay check going to come up with that kind of money????
The beauty is that they are about to become informed and they aren’t going to like it. Based on the libtard’s history of violence when they don’t get their way, this should be very interesting. We can only hope that Zero just pushed the self-destruct button.
300 per month is about what I’m paying now for myself. That’s cheap.
There IS Health Care for the uninsured.
HRSA
http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/
Federally-funded health centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance. You pay what you can afford, based on your income. Health centers provide
checkups when you’re well
treatment when you’re sick
complete care when you’re pregnant
immunizations and checkups for your children
dental care and prescription drugs for your family
mental health and substance abuse care if you need it
Health centers are in most cities and many rural areas. Type in your address and click the ‘Find Health Centers’ button to find health centers near you.
There is now! But what happens with this new program?
Most states have raised taxes on different things to fund the SCHIP program (as mandated by DC)! So, now that this is going away, do you think they are going to lower those taxes?
Uh, NO!!!!
They think health insurance is high now? Just wait until it's "free".
Many people are goiung to be very upset that what they couldn’t afford last year is even more expensive and required now. I think for a susidy family of 4 hs to be under $40K that would make her right on the verge and probably not eligable, The best news is that I read that the subsidies will be handled like a tax return and you will get it back in your taxes. That means good luck paying rent, payments, and food all year plus paying for insurace!
I know. My company has already sent out notices that any increase in premiums will be passed to us, since they have not raised our rates in two years (they took the increase each of those years).
They KNOW this is going to raise rates, and they are preparing all of us for the costs!
I have been getting my insurance with them, but I may have to drop insurance because I won’t be able to afford this “free” stuff!
I bet the problem is not so much that she cannot afford health insurance, the problem is she want to spend the money on other things rather then on her health needs.
$300/month for what?
Before my wife went back to work more than 15 years ago, I had to pay for an individual family plan which only covered major medical (not office visits). That was more the $8000/year back then. Now just the two of us are insured through her employer and more that $150/WEEK is deducted from her salary as her share of the cost of her group plan. That's about $650/month and presumably her employer is kicking in something. We do get office visits covered, but with a $30 co-pay. What do you get for $300/month?
ML/NJ
First of all, what is your racial background?
It’s not just those working and living for pay check to pay check that are affected. We Seniors are taking a big piece of the brunt of the tax burden as we are the ones who use the most medical devices. We also are getting NO COLA’s for 3 years. And if you happen to be a retired over 65 Military person on Tricare For Life, you are getting hit with NEW BIG FEES!
The American Legion executive director was on C-Span talking about TRICARE. Talks a lot about the VA, very little about Tricare. BUT DOES say those on TFL are having a hard time finding doctors to take them.
Reading option 96 didn’t clarify for me if this is just the enrolee or the enrollee and spouse who will be forking out nearly $7,000 per year, and they call that MODEST COST SHARING! It goes into effect in 2011! It is part of an older DOD bill.
TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

Option 96 pg 187
This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.

Congress plans to block Tricare fee increases

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.
Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees in fiscal 2010, Matz said. We took them at their word, and I cant believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward, he added.
IF YOU BELIEVE IT WILL GET REPEAL by bambi, dingy and botox, I’ve a really beautiful piece of ocean front property in Death Valley to sell you.
What state do you live in? Here in the people's republic of California, 38,000 will barely clothe, house and feed an family of 4 with nothing left over for extras, such as insurance. After taxes 38,000 becomes more like 30,000 and taxes are going up, not to mention gas prices.
