The moment Rivlin referred to can be seen in the accompanying video, when Biden says that Palestinian Authority leaders' “commitment to peace” is “an opportunity that must be seized, it must be seized. Who has there been better to date?..."

Might or might not, in this circumstance, no, I wouldn’t have applauded. There are Israeli’s who agree with Biden’s position on expansion, so they applaud. To characterize that as detrimental to Israel’s independence is absurd. Sounds like Obamaspeak, disagree with me, you’re disloyal.

Israel should proceed with the settlements in my opinion. Internal debate is certainly a part of any democracy.
The hamhanded antics of this administration make it likely that expansion will continue. Maybe one day the palestinians will negotiate, and the issue can be discussed. But until then, people need places to live. Joe and Barry may not understand that, living in public housing.
There is also a part of this that is Bibi sticking it in the face of Obama for his lack of support. I don’t blame him one bit.
Possibly, I doubt he liked the timing of the announcement, but who knows. I haven’t heard of any heads rolling because of it. And the worst part, an hour and a half less with Joe, a stunt that made America look like diplomatic amateurs.

Being retired now from working at a major public University (I was surrounded by the philosophical enemy), I can vouch for all of the above. This is why we must be hyper vigilant and pay a lot more attention to the garbage being stuffed into our young college students heads (and for that matter in grade and high schools too). They are being brainwashed into the socialist mindset. We need more conservatives to go into the teaching profession and fight from within. As well as more parents speaking up as to what our children are being taught.
