The Palestinians do not want a “viable state”. They want to complain about not having one while agitating to destroy another.

My thought as I first read the article was much the same as yours. They are almost all Jordanian. Let Jordan take them back.
That would suppose that the goal for these people is an independent state. The goal is actually the destruction of Israel by Arab powers too weak to do the job themselves.
