Obama:

"As he noted, the two sides will go their separate ways in the final legislative battle and then have it out in November. "We have honest disagreements . . . ," he said, "and we'll go ahead and test those out over the next several months till November."

We have not come to praise Obama. But to bury him.

Our health care system is no ailing, not at all, its the best in the world. It could be better, so all that is needed is a little tweaking. The premise of the article is total and complete BS.

Government involvement is the primary reason for any of the problems that exist.

hmmm..any sane person if faced between a high unemployment rate or “mandatory healthcare insurance” would have picked unemployment as top priority.

Of course, we have an imbecile, community-organizer so he’ll choose the 2nd option.

Apparently, we are supposed to accept the premise that health care in America is “ailing.”

Turning the entire healthcare system over to the federal government is not a remedy. That should just about do it for the 'RAT ideas.

What have you Republicans got?

Exactly. They make an assumption they want us to believe from the start - like it's a given. "It's a crisis, we NEED to do something about our healthcare" mindset. Produce fear - so they will submit.

IMO, he created the ‘first’ - it’s the way he wants it - he doesn’t see it as anything that needs fixing.

To Mr. Bolz, the author of the article:

We could fix our health care system almost overnight if we allow two things:

1) Allow health insurance companies to issue policies across state lines on a regional basis. Imagine every state in the USA where citizens of each state can choose between 15-20 competing plans--just the price competition will keep the costs down.

2) Institute important tort reform to emphasize immediate relief for medical costs and lost wage costs, plus require that the loser in all malpractice cases pay ALL court costs. That will cut out the frivolous lawsuits in no time flat and ensure that malpractice cases of REAL merit get heard.

Health care in this country is NOT ailing.

It is fine for up to 320 million people.

There are about 10 million that need to be taken care of.

We need to implement MORE not less, free-market principles.

And above all...

KEEP THE GOVERNMENT FROM STEPPING BETWEEN DOCTOR AND PATIENT.

Damn left continually trying to subvert the dialog.

The American people are tired of all this partisan bickering. Republicans and Democrats need to work together in a bipartisan spirit to find solutions to the health care crisis.

/BWAHAHAHA!

I recently had two procedures at an outpatient surgical center. Every aspect of the experience was so outstanding that as I walked into the house afterward it occurred to me that there is absolutely NOTHING the govt could do to make the place better.

But there is plenty it could do to make it worse.
