Obongo--and his inner minions--hates Japan because it is :
A Parliamentary democracy with power not reliant solely upon one individual man, who is treated as a savior (although it was this way before Surrender to the West and Democracy)
Has an extremely high education and literacy level and people generally do not whine
Is antiseptically clean in so many respects, and while it has some run down areas, these are not generally the case and one can feel safe generally at night, even in such substandard limited areas off the beaten path.
Hosts US military bases and outside of Okinawa is generally supportive of the US military
Fiercely anti communist with respect to North Korea and particularly suspicious of Communist China
Has a Zero intolerance level toward illegal aliens
Inconveniently shatters the liberal-inspired "minority myth of entitlement" that non-White people somehow have it tough and an unfair break in life, as Japan is the SECOND LARGEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD with yet a nearly 99% non-white ethnic background for the populace, teeming with hard-working and with those generally not terribly reliant upon government to solve every miniscule problem in one's life.
Discriminates in such areas have having pretty young women almost entirely on its flight attendent crews for its national carrier and other air carriers, not loud, liberal, over-entitled, unionized, over the hill PMS'ed out lesbians and effeminate men who make traveling a less than pleasurable experience.
Executes criminals and does so without much hoopla at all.
Treats homosexuality generally as a derangement if not humorous.
Has principled people in leadership who not rarely, in taking the ultimate responsibility for a major organizational failure, often take their own life rather than just say "I take full responsibility" and do nothing.

Thanks AiT for the detailed response. Still, it doesn’t make sense to me. If you look at the Dunham’s in Hawaii in the 1960’s and 1970’s you see a lot of red Japanese in their inner circle. Maybe there’s some event in Barry’s live as yet unreported related to some personal rejection by Japanese ex-pats.
