ABC News has begun the process of eliminating 300 to 400 positions at the news division by asking employees to participate in a buyout of their services.
In a move that has been rumored for weeks, and coming on the heels of layoffs at CBS News, ABC's cuts are a combination of union and non-union jobs affecting all areas of ABC News.

Hannity was talking about Jeremiah Wright for several months, but Obama and Wright just denied the story. It was Brian Ross who located the videos of the speeches, which blew the story wide open.
Of course after that, Fox News started running the speeches wall to wall. Bravo to both.
Did Diane Sawyer offer to redistribute her wealthy salary to save some of the “little people’s” jobs, or was she a rich, evil, greedy capitalist and keep all of her salary for herself?

If they rid of Katie and hired some cuter news-babes, their ratings would improve. If they replaced Katie with Dana Perino, their ratings would skyrocket.

But the media including ABC did not beat it like a drum like they would if Obama was a Republican.
Probably. The ABC Radio Newscaster I heard this morning was *seething* about some Wall Street fat cat getting a bonus. I mean- RAGE. He went on about how furious America is about it.
I stared in disbelief at the radio. I’ve never before heard ABC Radio News so blatantly reveal their personal and institutional politics. Yes, of course we know where they’re coming from- but one expects at least a passing nod at professionalism.
I personally don’t give a crap what some Wall Street executive makes. It isn’t coming out of my pocket, and it isn’t coming out of the (much deeper) pockets of the ABC Radio Propagandist, either.
