Beck says anything that he thinks will help bring him high ratings, which translates into more money in his pocket.  He has no strong core beliefs, and he even goes as far as to undermine President Reagan's status as a great conservative warrior.

“Republicans sold the American people out,” Beck says. “I’ve always said I was a Reagan-style conservative. But I don’t think Reagan was a real Republican. He just maintained some shared values.” link (page 3)

Hopefully, people will eventually find out about him.
