If the people of Maine want Universal Health Care so bad that they continue to send Collins to Washington, DC, why don’t they simply implement UHC in Maine like Massachusetts did? Leave the rest of us alone.
Maine has Dirigo Health which has been a total disaster.
Collins was reelected in 2008 so there’s nothing we can do for a few years but her former chief of staff (entire career as a staffer-hack) is running for governor and the Maine GOP thinks he’s the one that should get the nod. We are lucky to have a true conservative in the running (Paul LePage) and I think that this race is going to get some national attention. Personnally I would never vote for Collins, Snowe or anyone connected with them.
