Sarah's a genuine person, capable of backing up (past) commitments, even though she'd much rather skip them.
Stories like these (quoting anonymous sources on a blog), hardly tell the true story.
Do yourself a favor, spend a few hours and find out what kind of family life Sarah came from, what kind of woman she is today and make up your own mind and don't let others make it up for you as that's very shortsighted.
When Sarah shows up for that Arizona stump speech, are they coming to see McCain or HER. Who do you think the crowds will be cheering for. McCain or HER. :)

She pays back McCain for picking her (which elevated her career on the national stage) and demonstrats LOYALTY.
McCain can win or lose and Sarah comes out smelling like a rose. The only ones who hate this are.....
1. Concerned Trolls who are not Palin fans (and never were).
2. MSM who are looking for any kind of controversy.
3. “Purists” who hate McCain so much that they’ll lynch Palin out of spite.
4. Fair weather fans who at the slight hint of controversy will melt and wither.
