I’ve read several theads on this, but there are more details here than I’ve seen elsewhere, including the suspect’s name. That seems to confirm the original assumption that he is a Muslim. Plus the fact that he said he was working with al Qaeda and intended to blow up the plane.
The authorities are still trying to figure out what his motive possibly could have been.
