A new ad running on Fox News takes aim at accusations that opponents of President Barack Obama's healthcare plan are racist.

The advertisement is sponsored by a new conservative documentary, I Want Your Money (www.IWantYourMoney.net) and features Rep. Robert Schaaf (R, MO) among others admitting that if opposition to government-sponsored healthcare is racist, then he is racist.

Good ad.
Would be better if it contained a more diverse group.
Would make the statement “I guess I’m racist” even more ridiculous, which it IS!

ANYONE who has been active in the Conservative Movement for any length of time including yours truly has been called a racist LONG before BHO ever came along. I was called a racist simply for volunteering on Ronald Reagan’s presidential campaigns.

It goes both ways. Somebody needs to ask the question: How much of Obama’s vote was based on anti-White racism?

My thing....How much free care and "research grants" have we forked out for AIDS and that part of the population.

It's considered risky beyhavior...but there's no penalty like smoking or consuming fat....In fact, it's protected behavior. Ask Adam....

Simply read the CBO report on health care reform...

From the CBO

Bottom Line:

“The country faces a fundamental disconnect between the services people expect the government to provide, particularly in the form of benefits for the older Americans, and the tax revenues that people are willing to send to the government to finance those services. The fundamental disconnect will have to be addressed in some way if the budget is to be placed on a sustainable course.”

I have said this all along. Even before this all came about.

Someone would call me “raysis”. I say, “OK, so now what?”

I have LONG considered the ignorant “Racist” label, a badge of honor.

Considering the hateful, uneducated, uninformed perspective of those who dish it out, to be labeled a racist in today’s, diseased and cowardly, politically-correct culture, means that one is thinking QUITE clearly.

Great advertising...but just the beginning of the reckoning....recall the words of Patrick Henry when they tried to silence him by accusing him of being a traitor:

"If this be treason, then make the most of it!"

Just substitute the word racist for treason and we have a more forceful reply because it takes away from your opponents the moral high ground.....which this ad is starting to do.

I hope that you’re right. But it’s possible that the subtle wording of Rep. Robert Schaaf’s remark vastly overestimates the intelligence of the voting public. Watch the guest “journalists” on the Sunday talk shows start throwing around the talking point that a republican congressman “admits he is a racist”.

I often debate political issues with my black democrat friends.

After a spirited discussion, I always ask them if they think I’m a racist because of my conservative views.

They always respond NO.

I have gotten several to admit that the agenda pushed by the Democrat Party DOES contain many racist elements yet they will STILL vote democrat.

Someone would call me “raysis”. I say, “OK, so now what?”

Assuming a person is racist, what is the appropriate punishment? It would be a thought crime if no action were taken. Is this law on the books or is this a way to end an argument going badly for liberals? What if a person was not racist 99% of the time but them, without warning, a racist thought popped up?

There is an old saying, "What you resist, persists!". In other words, if you let them see that it bothers you, the pressure will never let up.

If called a "racist", I just chuckle and say, "yeah, I know it.", and walk on. Liberals love to argue lecture, take away their audience, leave them standing there talking to themselves and looking stupid.

But, since the 50's I have observed white America bending over backwards to appease and accomodate all of the race-baiters, but it has done little good in race relations. In fact, the only thing it has done is show the white's abject of being thought of as, or called, "racist". It's a sticks and stones thing.

I don't think we can ever bow enough, give them enough, or do enough for them to quell the accusations of "racism", so long as they work. Hell, even Pavlov's dog salivated when the bell would ring.

I have long since stopped every charitable donation that is specifically, or primarily, aimed at benefitting minorities. With all that has been given and sacrificed in the name of race relations, the drum beat of the race-baiters just grows louder...they cannot be appeased.

The race-baiters have learned that many whites - having let 40 years of PSA's and Movies convince them that slavery was their fault - wallow in "race guilt: 24 and 7, and that most will empty their wallets on the spot with the utterance of the "R" word. Calling these folks "racists" will get them money faster than a .357 pointed between their eyes.

But the most prominent racist in America, is currently the pres-ent. Why, if he could focus on getting troops to Afghanistan and fixing the economy like he focuses on local racial issues, he'd be jam-up and jelly-tight. But his actions and words say to the rest of black America, "I'm racist and it's OK if you are.".

The word "racist" should be a "water off a duck's back" word...it's been so over and mis-used, it should be meaningless now.

I challenge those who use the word as a weapon - IF I'M A RACIST, PROVE IT...OTHERWISE, STFU.

If you smoke one cigar, are you a smoker?

If Nancy Pelosi was driving through Harlem and needed a pack of gum, would she stop at the convenience store where 5 or 6 black guys are hanging around the sidewalk?

No? Well, why not????

If she doesn’t stop because of the guys loiting, is she raysis?

I definitely think the two black guys (especially the second one, who conveys quite a message with the look on his face) more than do the job.
