Elections surely do have consequences! Boehner (from my state) and Eric Cantor/VA (I think he's minority whip?) and a bunch of other Rep.'s were tenacious as heck, but you can't stop the House Majority freight train, especially when the Prez himself is up there breaking arms...
I hope Pelosi et. al. are very proud of their stunning 3-vote victory, with 39 defections...I'm LMAO at this press conference with them right now - they're not getting much screaming adulation, applause, etc., and in fact, it's darn quiet...
That won't last long, either, them congratulating each other and making speeches about how wonderful they are (kissing Pelosi's ring, too - LOL!) - when real people of all stripes find out what's actually in this plan, they're not going to be happy campers!!
Kudos to the dissenting Democrats - you don't have to be conservative to recognize a sh*t sandwich when you see one!!
I'd rather have "R"s in those districts than these so called "Blue Dog" Democrats. Even though they voted "no", we should still work to defeat them in 2010. I think the job just got a lot easier after tonight.
It’s not a “done deal” yet, right? I mean the provision for Fed abortions was removed and the pro-abortion crowd will fight to get that back in. Still more fighting to do. Good vs. Evil.............Good always wins out.........
