The immorality of 47 million Americans who don’t have health insurance... Oy vey.
They keep pushing that number.
How about looking into the millions of Americans who don’t have savings accounts? I think we should give each American who wants one a full savings account. It’s a RIGHT, not a privilege, to have enough saved for a rainy day, dammit!

"This weenie from my state is LYING!!!!!! Obama has already decided to pay 65% of Cobra payments, for 18 months after being laid off!!!! No one loses their job and thus immediately their healthcare!!!"
Actually I think the the stimulus only pays 65% of COBRA for nine months, a small detail.

What time is the actual vote expected to be? Won't it be great, if by that time, there are enough Dems to vote "No" --- LOL
To: Aussenseiter
You seem to be objective; that's not going to score you any points here. How would you know, newbie?

All the statements from democrats in this debate are BS. This bill is really just an attempt to seize massive economic power from private health insurance companies, and upgrade unemployed democrat voters and illegal immigrants from Medicaid to full subsidized insurance policies. It’s a pure political power grab; all the speeches are intended to cover up this brazen attempted seizure of political and economic power.

What happened to personal responsibility for what you have and what you want out of life? At least that is how I was raised.

OK< I stand corrected. Maybe it’s Cobra for 18 months, but the 65% discount is only 9?

I've been a FReeper for 5 years this weekCongrats! I've only been around for a year but I've never heard "neo-conservative" used as anything but a put down.
Herr Aussenseiter doesn't seem to anxious to bless us with his definition, either.
Things that make you go Hmmmm indeed, FRiend.

That 47 million number is pure BS. Everyone who cannot afford health care is eligible for health care coverage right now under Medicaid.

Agreed.
These shmucks seem to think that doctors should work for FREE. No one else should, but medical personnel should??
If you needed a car to get to work, and yours died, DAMMIT, would you need AUTOMOTIVE CARE! FOR FREE! so that you could get back to work?
