The Washington City Paper reports that the team's vendors were selling beer to patrons while they made use of the facilities last Sunday during their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The report says a poster named Gracelander first complained about the washroom sales more than a year ago on the Redskins' official message board ExtremeSkins.com.
"[W]hat made me mad was when I went to the bathroom at the start of the 3rd quarter and this guy was in the BATHROOM selling beers to guys who waited for the urinals. I found this just wrong on so many accounts."
While Gracelander later noted on the message board that stadium management apologized for the behavior of the vendors, the user returned last Sunday and recorded video evidence of the overzealous sales tactics.
A spokesperson for the Redskins was unable to confirm if the vendor had been fired but the official told ABC's Washington affiliate that "appropriate action was taken."
The Redskins next play Monday night at home against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In theory, setting up shop in the washroom is a good way to kill two birds with one stone.
Who wouldn't want to buy a can while hitting the can? The particular vendor in the video was probably raking in the cash compared to his colleagues, who were not as creative (or, you know, have standards).
It also brings up a lot of questions as a vendor, would you try to get customers on the way in or the way out?
Good customer service would dictate selling on the way out, when someone is ready to fill up again. But then, selling on the way in means not having to wonder if your patron took the time to, uh, wash up before doing business with you.

That's what I thought. Oh well. Anti-capitalistic putz.
As Archie once observed, “Ya know, Edith, ya can never buy beer, you just rent it.”
If you are that easily offended the what are you doing at an NFL game to begin with?
____
That’s my thought also. You’re a guy. At a football game.
I know a few of those germophobe folks, this weenie sounds like one of them. No way he was sitting in the nosebleeds, he was club level.
Sheesh. This country has become totally populated with busybodies. Busybodies on the Left tell us we have to pay more taxes to support people who don’t want to buy their own healthcare. Busybodies on the Right get all incensed about the stupidest little things that are none of their business.
What freaking difference does it make if someone sells beer in a the bathroom? If you don’t want a beer then don’t buy one.
Why can’t people just leave others alone. Why can’t people just live their own lives and stop worrying about what other people do if it has no effect on them?
It's bad enuf to see guys not wash their hands after using the restroom (I refuse to touch the door handle on the way out, except with the towel I used to dry my hands) and certainly disgusting to see a guy set his drink/beer on the urinal while he relieves himself...
...but handling money, beverages and **** in the same room...
AACK...that creeps me out.
