I spoke with a woman who was visiting the states from Europe a few weeks ago and she said we need to make plans to take care of all the people in the African countries that are going to be flooded by global warming. I was stupified that someone actually believed that crap. She was dead serious! It was all I could do not to laugh in her face.

Unbelievable. Didn’t someone UN moron claim the biggest threat facing Africa was global warming? Not AIDs, starvation, etc....no, it’s global warming.

Recent geological history, 200,000 years give or take a few thousand, prove we have more to worry about concerning another ice age. Warmer weather is healthier even if that means less landmass to inhabit. Another ice age means most of Europe would be unders hundreds of feet of sheet ice!
Now, how is that better, I ask everyone?
Why don’t they just save us all the drama and just kill themselves off right now if they think it’s so damn awful.
I am tired of people making careers off bullsh1t speculation and imperfect (and ignorant) computer models. And then panicking people into doing drastic things and making them think that they are saving the planet.
The world needs a revolt. More and more.
Sure I believe in disappearing cities, it’s just that what makes cities disappear isn’t climate it’s Democrat control. Seen Detroit, Michigan lately?

these people are some real idiots........try this experiment, put a bunch of ice in a glass and add water, then mark the level........let the ice melt.....is the water above or below the previously marked line?
It has everything to do with redistribution of wealth on a global basis...taken from US and given to them. Not once, but permanently.
Please do not accept the premise of climate change no matter what they call it.
Please help teach people what this is really about. Just look around you...it's happening for real, right now.

A more accurate experiment.
Fill glass with water and ice. Set on floor.
Fill your cooler with ice, set on counter with drain opened to drain melted water into glass. Wait a few hours. Measure line.
Much of the ice that would melt under a GW scenario is on land. That said, there is no evidence that glaciers are melting at an alarming rate and that the oceans will suddenly rise feet instead of 1-2mm/year as they have been doing for the past several thousand years.
