Spin from the BBC about Darwin (devoted to absolving Darwinism from revolutionary evolutionism)
CMI ^ | October 22, 2009 | Russell Grigg

The British Broadcasting Corporation in England has deemed it necessary to try and absolve Darwinism from any responsibility for the Holocaust and the many other atrocities committed in the name of evolutionary progress ever since Darwin published his Origin of Species in 1859. To achieve this, BBC2 produced a TV “documentary” entitled Darwin’s Dangerous Idea,[1] written and presented by their journalist and political commentator Andrew Marr. This 3-part series...

Well, I’m all for blaming it on that guy that is one in less than a millionth percent. I’ve tried typing that name when I was tired once and just copy/paste it now. I mean commas in a name? Sheesh. I think he should have to pay for mental health benefits for programmers or for hair regrowth.

“Just wondering, what does your version of the New Testament say about how to treat others? I can’t find anything in my version to support your treatment of others who may disagree with you. “

Ever read ->

Matt.7:6

[6] Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Or

John.7:24

[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

I don’t believe it takes a mental giant to make a proper JUDGEMENT CALL on Obama. We are to make judgement calls. For Obama, a judgment call goes way beyond appearance. Obama is EVIL. What is in Obama’s HEART comes out through his VILE behavior. Obama is EVIL to the core. I can’t imagine anyone defending someone as EVIL as OBAMA and then coming across as self righteous. It’s truly amazing the humanism that parades around as Christianity ... on FR ... . Even an atheist can figure out Obama is EVIL.

But, as I described above, if you take out the commas in the 1,000,000 of his screenname, it sends it to him anyway (at least it does so if you are using commas to separate each screename. I’ll try it using semicolons and see if that works too.

That actually makes sense from the error message you were getting. Glad it worked!

Amen! Sorry, I felt a need to correct that one =)

I am not trying to hijack anything, I just asked you a question about Professor Duesberg.

I've rarely seen such a blatant contradiction in one sentence.

You're going totally off topic with the question about Duesberg and then claiming that you aren't trying to hijack the thread?

Comments about lying will remain unsaid.....

Nat-Law,

Dan wouldn't have gone there if you hadn't first gotten "wee-weed up."

It just goes to show; "it's better to be pissed off than to be pissed on." Unless, of course, you're in to that sort of thing.

The debate typically devolves (no pun intended!) into the argument by creationists that scientists cannot prove that evolution has occurred; therefore, their hypotheses of creationism are equally valid.

This is a straw man argument. You have been a victim of propaganda.

I think we are dealing with some very insecure people here. I mean was it really necessary to bring the site owner into this thread?

What is the point of GGG posting these threads anyway, if no one can ask any questions or make comments?

“I think we are dealing with some very insecure people here. I mean was it really necessary to bring the site owner into this thread? “

Of course not, especially given the crass personal attacks that the OP made against another poster, earning him the well-deserved public rebuke by the mods.

“What is the point of GGG posting these threads anyway, if no one can ask any questions or make comments?”

I have a few possible responses:

- The “misery loves company” response. It is patently obvious that the crew here has a problem with weak faith. Posting this rationalization nonsense creates a kind of group therapy session to reinforce their faith.

- The “echo chamber” response. A very rational poster earlier today referred to the crew rather sarcastically as “our betters”. They truly believe that they are (see the “pearls before swine” post upthread), and this board affords them the microcosm of devout homogeneity that they crave.

Just my thoughts. I’m probably right on both, though...

Well, do you think you have it figured out better than a creationist? Of course you do, otherwise you wouldn’t hold that position. Try not to be hypocritical.

I have no quibble with creationists who base their conclusions on faith. I do have an issue, though, with those who claim that their position is supported by scientific observation (it isn’t), and further that such observation disproves evolution (it doesn’t).

I say this as a Christian.

Thank you! At least there was one honest posting on this thread.
