I doubt you’ll find many who will agree with him if any at all. He’s not clergy refusing to marry gays. He’s an official refusing to marry based on the race of the couple. He’s a bigot. I guess he ‘can’ choose who to marry and who not to marry, but that doesn’t make it right. Get rid of him.
