South Carolina Primary Challenge For Double-Crosser Lindsey Graham, PLEASE
Fox News, NY Times Op-Ed (10/11/2009 ^ | 10/11/2009 | Fox News

During the process of the impeachment of Bill Clinton, Lindsey Graham was the only Republican joining all the Hyde Committee Democrats in voting "nay" on Article Two, perjury in the Jones deposition. He killed it, a double-cross of Henry Hyde without doubt. This article had the best evidence against Clinton of any of the three articles of impeachment. As I remember, the judge in the Jones case had said that Clinton committed perjury. The extreme egotist, Lindsey Graham seems willing to do anything to attract special attention. He is nothing if not a shameless self promoter as the record shows. His latest desertion was in Sunday's New York Times where he joined John Kerrey, of all people, in an Op-Ed titled "Yes We Can (Pass Climate Change Legislation)." Graham is the one Republican who worries most about what The New York Times has to say about him.

That ship sailed. He is safe for another 5 years - isn’t he?

He was just reelected last year, over a rather lackluster primary challenger.

You have 4 years to come up with a viable challenger.

Graham isn’t up until 2014. We have plenty of other fish to fry before then.

Does SC have a recall process?

Lindsay Graham gave us Sotomayor. He was the only GOP vote on her, which, under Senate rules, allowed her nomination to proceed toa full vote.

He can never be counted on. In a pinch, he always votes against conservative principles.

Not only did he betray us on Clinton, he now has announced he will support Cap and Trade.

We will soon need a “reset” button on all of DC. These represesentaives and senators are out of control.

I did not know that he back stabbed Hyde, not that it is surprising at all. Would you please elaborate?

Yes, but it’s not too early to make Little Lord Lindsey a bit uncomfortable. There are two FR threads right now—with nothing at all pleasant to say about him. Hope his staff will inform him of this (my guess is that they monitor Free Republic). And with five years, it might be possible to find a good reliable conservative with lots of his or her own money combined with some charisma.

Lindsey doesn't have to worry about this for five years. He has a huge war chest (thanks to special interests that lobby for energy taxes and trial lawyers)--he doesn't get donations from small individual donors. He's all DC and arrogant when he bothers to come to SC. He holds South Carolinians in complete contempt.

It's like they think they're aristocrats!

The one to go after is Bob Inglis, a congressman in the Greenville area. He's another arrogant, entrenched RINO who started out in 94 promising only two terms. Inglis and Graham are very similar and there is a shot at unseating him.
