I have to agree with Beck on this one. McCain would have given the Lefties every socialist program they wanted and would have hung it on the GOP or at least given the Dems cover as being “Bi-partisan”.
I hate RINOs worse than anything. You always count on the enemy to stab you but it sucks when one of your own is obsessed with stabbing you in the back. To hell with McCain and Gramnesty. They are the reason the GOP has faltered.

I just don’t think most Beck fans realize how much he steals from other hosts. If they knew, they would not defend him as much. I agree he has helped awaken more people, but he needs to be a decent man. That is all.

I agree with that. But, today’s Libertarians are very different from Reagan conservatives. Yes, there is plenty of overlap in ideology, but not enough to give them the ball. Sorry.

I lined up behind McCain but had to hold my nose to do it. The problem with the GOP is all the idiot RINO’s preaching that we need to move left. Its hard to win an election when you spend so much time screwing everyone in your base & denouncing all that is important to your base. McCain had the voters to win, they just weren't excited about voting for socialism-light. He spent more time attacking conservative republicans that he did calling BHO on the carpet for his lies. I will not vote for another RINO. NEVER. I will vote for a loser third party candidate first.

No, I’m not. I’m a Reagan conservative. I just do not think this fight Levin has chosen to pick with Beck is worth it. I think it was unwise. I would love it if we got Levin here locally. I’m just disappointed in him. He need not have commented at all.

Maybe he did rip off others, but in the brief period I’ve listened to Beck, he’s been breaking ground no one else is.

Of course Levin has broken some great ground too as he’s clearly the smartest guy on radio.

I think they’re both right. Beck s right because the slow road to hell McCain would have would certainly not have ignited the grassroots and it would have put all the blame on the GOP. But I do think Levin is right that Beck is pandering. Beck knows he’s a pariah with the left. What better way to score points with the MSM than to trash ‘your own’ and elevate Hillary? Especially to Couric! There’s enough to say about Obama and his screwed up admin. Stick with what works.
