Lets all raise a toast to the man who, more than any other, represents the face of all that is mean, small, ignorant, bigoted, and petty in the United States of America circa 2009: Representative Joe Wilson.
At this point, the entire world has seen his picture: Mouth gaping, lips turned downwards in a derisive sneer, eyes blazing with dumb-animal fury as he bellowed two immortal words at the President of the United States. You lie.

Hey, cut the guy a little slack. He was only off by three letters. At least, I assume Wilson resents Obama.
Just burns their ass that for ONCE, Republicans crossed a line and landed a devastating right cross. They have always lived on the premise that the Right has to stay within their boundaries while the left gets to dance all around. It’s eating this guy alive that Wilson did this. Now they’re all wringing their hands, but many of them called for it to happen to Bush.
This guy must have been seriously hit...as he is squealing quite loudly. So much hate on the left. Rage that everyone doesn’t want to live the way they dictate all should live. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
read the comments of folks responding to his rant (at his site). Geesh he’s getting flamed!
Lets all raise a toast to the man who, more than any other, represents the face of all that is mean, small, ignorant, bigoted, and petty in the United States of America circa 2009: left wing news reporter David Livingston.
Well there’s your window into the self-hating soul of a moonbat. I say let this guy type away in his padded cell and don’t tell him that Obama subsequently added citizenship verification requirements to the bill, proving Wilson’s point and a larger one: standing up to Obama gets results.
Here, hold muh beer while I write this here newsy article....
If you look at the faces of the men sitting with him you can see that they are thinking exactly what he said. No shock on their faces. That’s because the President had just insulted them.
Ignores the fact that, first, Obama kept accusing Repubs of lying all night long and, two, Wilson was right. Obama was prevaricating every time he opened his mouth and almost everyone there was too polite to say so. Except one guy, who for a split second just couldn’t contain himself.
Wilson’s the kid in the story who cried out that the emperor was full of it.
Doesn’t ANYONE remember that Sen. Harry Reid called President Bush a loser when he was talking to a classroom of school children???
What’s worse? Insulting the presidency ala Harry Reid or telling the truth about a lying president like Rep. Joe wilson did?
Thanks for directing me to the comments. Made my day. :-)

Surprised?
Look at what liberals can make of two words.
Reminds me of how weak most republicans are.
Wilson shouldn’t have spoken out of turn. Other than that he was right on. Obama is a liar.
...not unless they read a conservative web site, watch FoxNews or listen to talk radio. My sister who went to the 9-12 rally in Washington was met with blank stares when she told a group of educated adult women who knew absolutely nothing about it.
The DBM has the power to choose what is and what is not news. It's their strongest power.
Shouldn’t this fellow’s name be livingstoned?
You've got a contender here for sure. It's the comments that make the visit worthwhile, though.
If you look at the faces of the men sitting with him you can see that they are thinking exactly what he said.
I wonder how long it will take, or how much money Joe Wilson will raise, before Republicans and the RNC will recognize that if you say the right things and oppose vocally those things that are wrong that they too may start getting people to answer their phones when they call for donations.
Yeah I agree, the comments are priceless. I have never seen an article and author torn apart like this before.
