WASHINGTON — The House has voted to admonish Rep. Joe Wilson over his "You lie" outburst to President Barack Obama during the president's health care speech to Congress last week.....

Wilson himself would not back down on his position that he owed the House no apology. Surrounded by Republican supporters, Wilson said Obama had "graciously accepted my apology and the issue is over."

“I think they make him stand in the well of the House while they all say mean things about him.”

“And Maureen Dowd gets to tell people what she really “heard” them say. ( She gets to make it up out of the cesspool that’s her mind)”

And don’t forget the dunce hat and the chair facing the wall for a time out.

“Did ya’ll hear what Charles Krauthammer just said??? ROFLMAO
On Maureen Dowd: In my previous profession there were also people who heard people say things they didn’t and they were given medication.

That is almost a quote! I wrote it down as quickly as I could to make sure I was close to exact.”

He also said, “We call them ‘patients.’” The Hammer was at his best on that one!

Hypocrisy, from the past:

WASHINGTON — Democratic Rep. Fortney “Pete” Stark of California apologized Tuesday for comments he made last week suggesting President Bush was sending troops to Iraq to get their “heads blown off for his amusement.”

The apology came after the House voted 196-173 with eight members voting present to table a resolution introduced by House Minority Leader John Boehner censuring Stark.

Exactly. Admonished basically means he will be dressed down, verbally abused in the chamber and be told that if he had joker face paint he would have rushed the stage to smear him with it you know stuff like that.

Kudos to Joe Wilson for standing his ground and making his point. And frankly, the longer he can keep Zero’s transparent dishonesty in the MSM’s sights (at least peripherally), the better for us all.

Ike Skelton (Mo.), that one the minority in the House selected to lead against the impeachment proceeding of the former liar-n-chief. I think he got some boat named in his honor. This guy has been in office since time began and he just might be getting some competition come next year for his life's long office. Some of his born and bred religious democrat followers are NOT that happy with his ‘cap-n-trade’ support. He has not exactly been out in front having townhall meetings showing his support for the healthcare reformation. It is like he really did go on vacation in the month of August.

There are a number of these democrats that are in mostly conservative and moderate Republican districts that would not subject themselves to supporting the health care reformation to their employers. They went stealth ‘hoping’ the August recess would pass by them without having to state for the record what position they ultimately will take.
