Yesterday's march evidenced the fact that we have the capacity to shut down the federal government. And we have the will. Should it come to that.
They’re scared...
and there are a couple threads.
“ABC News Reported D.C. Rally Size in Tens of Thousands, Not 1M to 1.5M as Activist Said.”
It comforts the libs to delude themselves into thinking yesterday’s rally was just a few thousand racist malcontents.
Though I’m quite sure the number was well past 1.5 million (how could it not — a sea of people covered the entire area!), the real counting will begin the first Tuesday of November 2010.
Note to ABC's advertisers: Y'all need your corporate heads examined.
But I have a feeling the Government is going to shut down our economy first. We are close to 20% unemployment now, and the dollar is down the tubes. And they tell us this is good.
I have read estimates from different websites. From tens of thousands to 2.2 million. I wish we had an actual headcount. I saw that on C-span yesterday when he announced the 1.5 million. I also read ABC’s report last night from their website.
Best estimate came from another site where police estimate was 1.2 million. I do not have the website as I was searching in a variety of ways last night. I forgot to bookmark the site.

Remember peter jennings of all barack channel ripping Bush for actually following SS plans after 9/11 and old peter the canadian commie was calling our president a coward on National TV... like I said Screw abc... may they die the death of a million paper cuts.

Everybody knows democraps have problems with large numbers. That’s why it’s imperative that we take the keys away from them and make sure that they don’t come near the Senate/Congress/White House again for the next several decades.
LOL! They sure are whining.
This one in my book is the prize winner of the day. The lady holding it moved from Austria to the US 27 years ago.
ABC: “YOU LIE!”
THIS is what ABC expends effort to clarify. A crowd count.
Hey ABC, how it’s going on the Obamacare bill research that you will soon be explaining thoroughly to the American people? Or any exposés on the truthfulness of this administration’s statements? Crickets chirping...
The NY Post, hardly a lib rap sheet, reported the rally had 30K attendees. On TV it didn’t look like a million. Anybody got a valid count?
I spoke with someone this morning who claimed to have contacts in the DC police department, and he was adamant that the 2,000,000 figure agrees with their estimates based on aerial photographs.
That means that approximately 0.67% of the US population was on the streets in DC yesterday.
The numbers for the DC rally will get a bit firmer over the next few days. What I’m wondering about is the cumulative count for all 912 events. Were there a lot of other rallies and, if so, what is the estimated attendane for the whole country. The number in DC is only part of the story. Gimme a total number. The US is a big place.
Don’t be DC-centric. This is a NATIONAL movement.
here is you estimate....there are 302 acres in the mall at washington dc.....one acre equals 43,560 square feet....times 302 equals 13,155,120 square feet...from the pictures i have seen, the place was packed...figure each person took up 4 square feet ( 2 feet across by 2 feet deep ) then the crowd numbered 3,288,780 people.....just for comparison, for Fubo’s inauguration, the estimate was 1 person per square foot.....

We’ll never really know the true number, actually...but it was a LOT...and the left is still stinging. They’ve already lost the war but will refuse to surrender...kinda like the Japanese in WWII.
Long, long ago, when I was just a teenage college student, I worked at ABC in New York for the summer. The program was called “Vacation Relief”, and was widely known as a way for ABC executives’ kids such as myself to get real working experience while in school.
Anyway, one day I was watching raw footage come into the newsroom. The footage was of a protest against apartheid in South Africa, and was shot IN South Africa. I saw approximately...oh...70-100 people in the raw footage.
When the same footage aired on ABC News that night, they had blown up the frame and the anchor (Jennings? I think it was Jennings) was voicing over something like, “Thousands rallied in South Africa today...”
Well, I don’t know if “thousands rallied” or not, but I can tell you this: the footage they showed was doctored up the wazoo to match their version of the story.
Even before this incident, I looked at MSM news with a jaundiced eye, but after this...if they told me the sun would rise in the east tomorrow, I wouldn’t believe it.
Regards,
