Calling him a Socialist implies that he’s comparable to West European leaders and politicians. Not even close. Just imagine Calling Chavez and Castro Socialists.
He’s no Socialist; he’s an Alinsky Marxist, through and through.
We should call a spade, a spade.
If Zer0’s Marxist agenda isn’t stopped in its tracks BEFORE the 2010 election and his union thugs aren’t prevented from physically intimidating Americans, a banana republic would be created and the ballot box would be rigged.
Of course, to stop his agenda is no small feat and will cause the possibility of civil war to rise exponentially.
America would have been much luckier if Zer0 was a real Zero. Unfortunately, the destruction to our beloved country proves that he’s much worse. He should be called a huge minus.

However, if you look at FASCISM linked there, you can EASILY see that these "Progressives" actually espouse and pursue methods and goals of the fascist movement very closely! The one thing they do NOT do is "fan the flames of nationalism" - in fact, they behave quite to the contrary in that respect. They espouse a "One-World Fascism".
If you look at the articles linked there about Communism and Socialism, you can see that the major differences between those two is the "One-World" aspect of Communism (so communism has never been practiced in the world.)
For this reason, I argue that the proper designation for Dear Leader and the "Progressives" political philosophy is "One World Fascism" or
CommuFascism
