All the liberal blabbers are talking about Ridge's book, "The Test of Our Times: America Under Siege...and How We Can Be Safe Again," due out September 1.

In it Ridge says he was pressured to raise the threat level right before the election to scare the country into re-electing Bush. He says he considered quitting over it.

Of course, he didn't quit. He must have enjoyed the position and the paycheck.

What a phoney. They all want to be liked and invited to dinner parties. At least Cheney doesn't play that game.
