What’s interesting is that the Pope’s idea of socialism doesn’t appear to be what the leftist view of socialism is. They are all willing to get on board universal health care but are they willing to support abortion to bring it about? Personally, I think the Pope naive believes that you can make pacts with the devil.

It looks to me like he’s helping to set the stage for a world court, complete with laws which we “as citizens of the world” must abide by. and of course, we’ll have to have a czar, a caesar, to be in charge, and there you have it

I agree with most of your post, Harley, but I would never term this pope "naive.

Ratzinger was head of the Holy Office of the Inquisition, making him successor to the Grand Inquisitor. He was also in charge of covering up the sex abuse scandal within the priestcraft. He was a soldier who shot Allied planes out of the sky in WWII. He calls all non-Roman Catholic churches "defective.". And now he carelessly calls for a one-world political, legal, social and economic authority "with teeth."

He is a man who kept the secrets of the RCC. He is not naïve.
