Last night the beloved Charles Krauthammer said our noisy protests are losing the battle. That the ruling class is winning because we are so uncivil.
Eff you...CK
They're disturbing because they are the first to use violence. We need to push back, but without violence.
Hopefully they'll be outnumbered enough and there will be enough of a law enforcement presence to where won't be stupid enough to try anything. Perhaps the video that went viral showing one of them getting cuffed will also have a neutering effect.
That said, if any of them gets any bright ideas of putting his hands on me or someone I love, and my fist happens to smash his jaw in self defense, then "oh well."
Oh, no, I do not feel that way! I love that man and his wise insights. I just think he's wrong about this. He said gently again tonight that the clamoring should be outside and the quiet discourse should be inside. I understand his point. I just think he's wrong, although I'm not actually ENCOURAGING screaming at politicians. I like this take over at NRO:
Re: Krauthammer's Take and the Polls [Peter Kirsanow]
Krauthammer's assertion that the boisterous town halls are a gift to supporters of Obamacare because they will create a backlash against conservative/Republican opponents is, at least thus far, wholly unsupported by the polls. We've been seeing videos of the raucous town halls for nearly two weeks and yet support for government health care continues to plummet. The latest Rasmussen has support for Obamacare at its lowest point ever.

I thought this happened to that man at the Arlen Specter townhall today. Did you see that guy in the white shirt, obviously a union guy, come up behind the older man who wanted to speak, place both hands on his shoulders, and try to force him to move, saying, "Sit down"? It shook up the poor guy.
Yes, yes!
And I would add....
We have quietly allowed liberals to express their venom in front of us and in public, accepting their point of view because we do that and we do not want to disrespect the viewpoints of others.
We tiptoe silently around their sensibilities because they are so easily upset and we want everyone to get along.
No more.
I speak now, too, easily and often expressing cheerful displeasure at the political shenanigans going on in our country.
Cool.
IT’S A REVOLUTION, DAMMIT! WE HAVE TO OFFEND SOMEONE!
Great work! It is become US versus THEM. There is a THEM. We would like them to be part of us, but they have gone over — they want all — our wealth, our children, our lives, our organs.
We must fence them out of the camp, and them be cured, if they can be, of the diseases THEY carry. We do not have a cure, we can only protect ourselves.
