A simple, practical plan to purge Congress of all Democratic Socialist traitors in 2010.

I lived in Missouri in 2004. The governor at that time was a Democrat slug by the name of Bob Holden. He was as sleazy, dishonest a partisan hack as ever existed. He was universally reviled by conservatives. There was no doubt that he would be reelected if he received the Democrat nomination, because the welfare-voters of Kansas City and St. Louis dominate state-wide elections.

We got rid of him, though. Tens of thousands of Republican voters crossed-over in the primaries and voted for his Democrat opponent. He lost the nomination, and in the process his political career was destroyed.

I say we do the same thing in 2010 to ALL the Democrats in congress who vote for Obamacare and/or Cap-and-Tax.

It would be a revolution that would send shock-waves through the political class for decades to come.

I say it's time to show these people who they answer to.

I am angry enough to do it. Fortunately, I don’t have a rat (other than Johnny Isackson) to vote against.

In many states this means changing your party registration. In my own state of Texas your party registration is determined by which party primary you vote in. I don’t see a lot of people here wanting to officially register as democrats. Besides - this can actually backfire and lead to some strange things happening in your local GOP. For example ... In Texas you have precinct caucuses on primary night and you only get to participate in your party caucus. There are a lot of boring resolutions but those resolutions determine higher policy. The precinct caucuses also determine who represents you at the senate district caucus and what issues they take up. And from there it goes to the state convention. It’s important to participate in that.

I almost vomited when I did, but it was for the greater good, and it worked.

We'd only have to do this once to send the message.

“Operation Chaos writ large. I like it.”

That’s pretty good. I’m thinking of changing my registry to Democrat. If the Democrats can choose the Republican candidates, why can’t we choose the Dems’ candidates in the primaries?

Cross over voting in this case may have worked for this time, but it has worked largely against conservative interests in that men like John McCain, a liberal rino, was the primary candidate and a waste of my conservative vote.
This is the reason so many of us have abandoned the liberal GOP for conservative third parties.
To this day, the GOP is run by liberal elitists much as the marxist left democrat party.

The message it would send, after the polling data was examined, was the republicans crossed lines in a massive way to interfere in the internal politics of another party. Nobody likes that. I also point you back to the tail end of that earlier comment ... I think it's VITAL for participate in the GOP on the most local level possible to help direct policy and platforms.

Absolutely, and so it has and is.

How did voting for McKeating's GOP opponent in the Republican primary work out for you?

I don’t give a rip what happens to the GOP. We wouldn’t be in this mess if it weren’t for them.

Don't cross-over if your Senator or Congressman is a RINO.

My Congressman C.W. Bill Young (R-FL 10th District) will not get my vote in the primary. I haven’t heard a peep from him on any of this.
