There may be a good strategic reason why Obama does not release his birth certificate (which would probably prove that he was born in Hawaii, IMO): he wants folks like us to keep agitating and speculating about this stuff so that he can paint us as nutjobs. He’s picking us out, freezing us, personalizing us, and polarizing us, and we’re practically handing him a method of doing so.

It “tweaks” me, as you say, because people asked for the birth certificate, it was produced, and we’re still talking about it.

Search...certificate of live birth.
Search Hawaii law which defines what it is.

The whole issue is that he didn't show his birth certificate and here you are saying that he did when he didn't!
Just like he didn't release his school records or his adoption records or a plethora of other records that, until this point in time, has never been done before. Nobody else has given up nothing. Nobody!

Yeah, you go ahead and believe that the media and Mr. Soerto have your best interest at heart in this matter and have nothing to hide.

Thank you for the brave ping, Meek [post 197]. Time will tell. BTW, I just heard [for the first time for me at least] that Hannity has joined us on the BC issue in a very sensible tone. As for your critics, criticism is one thing that keeps this forum great, but at the same time, I remember how a single anonymous caller tipped us off that Gitmo detainees were throwing excrement at the guards [and worse].
