Beck just showed an eyefill. The Government's Cash for Clunkers Website requires user to click on "accept" for a disclaimer. What a disclaimer! If you click "ok" it says in fine print that your computer is now considered the property of the Federal Government, including all content on your computer, and gives access to both the US and foreign governments. I am not making this up. Beck's computer froze because of heavy website use.
I loathe Obama, but Im skeptical about this report.
Easy enough to test if ONE conservative was willing to sacrifice a pristine new laptop to see if any malware is installed. Until thats proven, to me the jury is still out.
I think its badly written boilerplate that was TRYING to say that the govt owns the data you enter in its own CARS.gov system.
Its what we can expect from public school and university writing classes, tinged with the wishful thinking of the totalitarian left.
Again, test with 3 new laptops and see if anything other than a cookie is installed.
Nope- saw it on Glen Beck. He showed a computer screen, said basically "All your computers are belong to ME".
Foxnews in the Austin area has beck on 4 to 5.
Better be careful of Google also. They have been databasing search information for the government. When you use Google Earth to look at your home, it stores the infomation, sends it to the government and then government spy satellites, much more advanced than the ones used by Google Earth are trained in on your home.
They will use satellites that are in the extreme eastern or western sky to peer through your windows or use their thermal imaging satellites to monitor activities inside the home. The Democrats complained about Bush, but Obama has taken snooping to a whole new level.
I stopped using online banking a long time ago due to background activities on my computer. Several times I had my port watcher sound an alarm, my antivirus go off, my firewall pop up a warning that an intrusion was detected and I found several processes running that shouldn’t have been. Our privacy is gone folks. Communism is here!
Either Beck is gullible or he believes his viewers to be. He’s got a lot of scary discussion of how the gubmint is going to take over your house - but he himself gives a tossaway reference at the beginning of the piece that this site is accessible to dealers ONLY.
So why then spend 5 minutes talking about how horribly threatening to the consumer at home this is?
He’s becoming a carnival barker.
And why is Kimberly Guilfolyle there, other than to provide cleavage? Is that the sort of outfit Fox News anchors wear these days? What’s next, Hannity in a Speedo? I think that she is just a piece of eye candy used to distract us from the craptacular nature of this “reporting.” (And boy did she “distract” me, heh.)
Next week: Glenn Beck exposes how Obamacare turns seniors into Soylent Green at their government-run “hospitals.” “You’ll never see Granny again!
Not that it is any less alarming, the dealers are citizens too.
Apparently, it is less alarming to many people here. Why, I have no idea. But they're perfectly cool with the fed seizing ownership of private dealers' computers.
I guess they all think the fed will stop there.
I hear there's a tinfoil hat sale going on at K-Mart. Perhaps you should avail yourself.
