Ok I checked out the thread in question here: http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?2,760293,760781.

It looks like a majority of the offensive post were made by a poster “Manc”
“could you imagine what world leaders must be thinking seeing this kind of street trash and that we paid for this kind of street ghetto trash to go over there”

The poster had about 5-6 different posts in the thread all containing the “ghetto street trash” line. It looks extremely random and over the top I think this was Perry’s troll account.

Another comment calling Malia a “street whore” was made by “US Navy Vet” who just joined in April. So i think he is a troll also, there is no proof whatsoever that real freepers made these post.

I wonder if this guys “bosses” are just as bad? They might just sit around with him smoking pot, snorting coke.....

Yep, he came here yesterday and admitted it while trying to defend himself (also fessed up to having at least three additional accounts here). A FReeper confirmed it was him by emailing his work listed email address and posted the response here as well as Parry posted here he received the email.

He also admitted it on the Daily Kos. Amazingly stupid man.

Allow me to state, without any hesitation, that those remarks, made anonymously on the internet many years ago, before I was anywhere near the newspaper industry, were inappropriate and distasteful.

After a decade and a half online, I’m not surprised I had the occasional moment of silliness left behind me. It happens.

You live, you learn. Moving on.

Oh, by the way, The Province is an entirely separate newspaper. Contacting them about this won’t do much to help your cause. Nor will contacting advertising, sales, finance, reader services or community investment.

Publisher and editor-in-chief are your go-to guys, if you must.

You should be fired not for what you did. You should be fired because what you did reveals the type of person you are.

I have a question. Why target FR when left wing websites have posted and left comments about conservatives children that were much worse than anything FR has ever come up with. There is a double standard that is absolutely breathtaking. This is seen purely as a political attack on FR by lefties. Why not clean your own house first?
