Given the manufactured “outrage” by democrats, media, and many in the republican establishment about her resignation, the numbers here are just FANTASTICALLY good. She will recover, and then grow her support with some time, its pretty obvious.

“I doubt she’ll run in 2012 but if she does my guess is that she only ends up getting nominated if Barack Obama’s reelection seems inevitable and Republicans just want to vote for someone who makes them feel good, ala Barry Goldwater in 1964. If they think they have a real chance of winning they’ll probably nominate someone who is perceived to be more electable.”

The latest meme!! Yes, she is popular, more so than anyone else in Republican circles, but she can’t win the election. They need Mitt - he will be very very very hard to beat. /s

At least we have moved forward here, Palin is the likley GOP nominee :).
