More Monthlies Needed!!
If we had enough monthlies to cover our costs we wouldn't even need to hold FReepathons or, in the very least, they'd run a lot faster. If you are a regular donor to Free Republic, please consider starting a monthly. Your donations will be processed automatically by our program or through PayPal.
If you are not a regular donor to Free Republic but find our website fun, useful and informative, please consider becoming a regular donor. Start a monthly if you can.
And if you start your monthly this month (or increase your current monthly) please let me know by FReepmail and we'll include your name in a drawing to be held at the end of this month for TWO tickets to our National Convention in Washington, D.C. on Sept 11 through 13.
We already have SIX new monthlies in the drawing and would like to add your name. If your name is drawn, you can use the tickets yourself or give them away to others.

That was first said by GK Chesterton, which means that she is much better read that anyone gives her credit for.
It has special meaning to me:
Years ago we were vacationing along the Columbia River. We stopped to picnic along a small stream. In it was a female salmon swimming her way upstream to spawn. She struggled for hours to pull her cut injured torn body over rough rocks and through shallow water that barely covered her weakened body. Finally she reached the small pool below a beautiful waterfall where she laid her eggs, died and floated down stream...
Sarah fishes for Salmon. She knows the process, the determination, perseverance they exhibit to preserve their breed.
IMO Sarah exhibits the same characteristic. ANd we’ll see in the future that she wants to preserve us, the USA.
God bless Sarah....She listens to the small still voice...and follows its calling.
