You seem to forget, that this president just ignored contract law which is very clear
And that clearly means he will get a constitutional amendment for a 3rd term and we haven’t even gotten through 6 months of his first term. Please.
I’m not saying Obama has a plan to eliminate the Constitution and retain power at this time. BUT
1 He is trying to remake America into an extreme socialist nightmare and
2 You have to understand the leftists and especially academic types like Obama are legal nihilists. They believe the law is a sham and the judges do not follow precedent, they really just make decisions to uphold their version of social justice/ injustice. The liberals believe it is therefore totally justified to use the courts, law, constitution, anything - to remake society as it should be.
yeah, but ignoring contract law is very different than getting 2/3 of the states to ratify. He will have a difficult time swindling that one and we do still have a supreme court that for the time being is mostly conservative. The constitution is very clear on adding amendments and I can’t see the courts allowing him to skip that process.
Remember - one thing Americans hate most is someone who doesn’t play by the rules. If he tries to “skip a step”, all hell would break loose.
