Who is this putz?

A left-wing radio host who didn't draw ratings. MSNBC hired him when they decided to become the hate network and shoot for the IQ below 80 demographic.

Check out the first sentence in this report from The State, SC’s largest newspaper, the one that somehow had a reporter at Hartsfield in Atlanta to greet Sanford’s plane:

http://www.thestate.com/sanford/story/839350.html

Personal e-mail account. Not government. Personal. Had it since December and sat on it. Now, why would any creature of the msm sit on a bombshell like this? They do it routinely to protect Democrats. Not Republicans, though.

Held it over his head to get him to play ball on stimulus, maybe? He didn’t so now it’s being published.

That’s what I’m saying. There’s plenty of reason to be angry at both Sanford and Ensign but we should not lose sight of the big picture and neglect to ask bigger questions.

Wondering the same......
Sanford loudly refused stimulus money, thereby embarrassing BO...So now they make it a point to expose and to ruin him.....(and unfortunately Sanford gave them the ammunition.)
This is the Chicago way..................

OK, so it was known since late last year, that Sanford was having an apparent sexual relationship with this Argentine woman. Known by a newspaper, apparently known by his political rivals and known by his wife, who by all accounts was the real striver of the two.

There was a weird, apparent non-sequitur from yesterday, regarding Sanford’s passport, offering a recent photo of it to the press.

He was supposedly out of contact, but they knew when his flight would arrive, even though he arrived earlier than scheduled.

The cell phone tracking thing ... doesn’t that strike anybody as Orwellian?

He cheated on his wife and lied about it. That makes him a tool and a fool, being in the limelight as he’s been. But something really smells here.

Wait till you read his e-mails, if you are so inclined. Steamy hot and silly like a babbling junior high student.

Nearly Obama-like, but at least he didn’t go on about stained underwear like little Barack.

Well, Schultz is an idiot.

I just don't get it. Is Sanford so stupid and irresponsible to throw away his career and his future political aspirations for a fling? Judging from the tenor of her emails, this woman sounds about as immature as Sanford himself (who sounds like a horny teenager). She is married with 2 boys, as well. Maybe her husband (or ex-husband now), was the one who released these emails to the media. Who knows?

Sanford takes off on Father's Day and goes missing for a number of days, and as far as I know, no one was able to reach him. Who was in charge of the governor's duties while in his absence?

Now when the GOP is bleeding and needs a tight ship, this guy goes and does something as stupid as this.

Everyone on our side should know that the media is waiting for stuff like this to surface and damage Republicans, while on the other hand they cover and conceal negative information regarding the Democrats. And now, Sanford utterly drops the ball. And for what? A married woman on another continent? I just don't get it!

re: You aren’t in the least curious about why we didn’t even know where Sanford was this morning but now we have names, dates, emails, addresses and all kinds of info?)))

Something's afoot. But the new cycle thing isn't it. More likely, blackmail and enemies in Columbia. Plus this Maria was probably in on it.

He could have had a political-death wish. I'm sick of this. Get me outta here."

So when he goes the way of Bernie Ward and gets caught doing something disgusting, is he gonna cry and whine about it? I’m guessing so.

His first wife was a respected news anchor in Fargo (where fast Eddie was a sports announcer).

You know, that may be why the whole lot of Republicans in DC rarely open their mouths about much of anything.

Fox news had two emails, one from him and one from her. He sounds like he still loves the other woman. Were there more emails? This guy had lots of time to do the right thing! I have no sympathy for him but plenty for his family and the suffering he put his family through. And the other woman, she is a skank!

I read three e-mails, two from him and one from her. One was pretty explicit, black and white betrayal of his wedding vows.

Like you said, he had plenty of time to do the right thing - he didn’t want to. Then when his wife wanted a short break from him, he decided to fly down and “break up” with the woman in person - and was with her on Father’s Day of all things.

I don’t like the tabloid tactics of the people who dug this up, but it wouldn’t have happened if Sanford was who he portrayed himself to be.

I think Sanford ought to be hammered. He threw away a chance to be presidential candidate just so he could satisfy carnal desire.

Geez.  It ain't the end of the world.

His irresponsibility in this affair is beyond belief. He ought to resign and go back to peddling insurance or being a shyster; he certainly is not fit to govern even a small town.

Who knows, maybe he can run for mayor of Ipanema.
