No...he was a pretty solid conservative. The first governor to turn down stimulus money. That’s what makes this all the more sad and disappointing to me.
In that case, I’m even angrier. He had a responsibility to his wife AND the conservative cause. And he blew it. And he not only cheated, but he did it in a way that made it IMPOSSIBLE to not get caught. Did he think he could disappear for a week and not have it be noticed?
If the guy can turn down the stimulus money, he wasn't able to turn down the Argentine stimulus. It is sad, but the man showed very bad judgement. (And yes, I know I am spelling judgement the old-fashioned way. I am a real conservative.)
