because they are. remember talking to an education or sociology major back in college? they are the biggest morons one could possibly ever meet!

Yep, for the most part they are. The state college I went to was popular for education majors. With very few exceptions, the top reason I heard for majoring in ed. was that it was an “easy” major. The subjects most frequently cited for being light in coursework, thus desirable, were science and math. They also planned on being able to easily find work, with job security.

30 years removed from the college of engineering. It was the standing joke then and still is prevalent today amongst the engineers. The engineer drop outs headed to the school of education and the school of communication arts (i.e. journalism) And now they teach children and grandchildren math .... no .. sorry .. they propagandize our children with women studies and social behavior acceptance.

In sorrow, I report .. our schools of engineering are watered down as well .... to what used to be acceptable in H.S. years ago.
