Feeding tubes, pain, difficulty in breathing are part of the daily life of LantzALot at this point. Lew needs our prayers and our support. Give him the old FReeper good wishes. We will all be there eventually. It can be a lonely journey or a rich journey “depending”

Tell Lew that he is in our hearts and prayers. We used to email back and forth.... and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed our conversations. He is such a wonderful person and touched so many here on FR.. God Bless him....

Lew, you are in my thoughts and prayers. One rarely knows, for sure, the details of God’s plan. But one thing we can trust is his promise of everlasting life. May God hold you close, and give you comfort, and even joy, in every minute.
Prayers up for you, Lantz, my God grant you and your family and friends the comfort you all need and I’ll be praying for a miracle.
Dear Lew, I have read Dolly’s post and want to tell you I have said a prayer for you.
These sciptures are some of my favorites:
Psalm 33:17 “Your eyes will see The King in His beauty and the highland of heaven far away.”
2 Corinthians 5:8 “Sorrow not as them who have no hope, for we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:1 “For we know when this tent we live in now is taken down, we will have wonderful new bodies in heaven. How weary we grow of our present bodies. That is why we look forward eagerly to the day when we shall have heavenly bodies which we shall put on like new clothes.”
Having seen my youngest uncle battle cancer at the age of 54, I know some of what you are dealing with. The body is merely the shell of the human soul. We have to live in these flawed shells, while we are here on Earth. I look forward to the day that I do not have to take my daily medication that allows me to live a nearly normal life. I welcome the day The Lord calls me home. Lew, you are going before me, to the place I long to be when my work on Earth is over, whenever The Lord decides my work here is done. Sing with the angels Lew! I wish you peace. TheConservativeParty
