It isn't at all a strawman, it is the truth; and it goes miles towards explaining why Creationism as a movement is anti intellectual, anti science and anti discovery.

Creationists quite evidently think knowledge will turn people away from Christ, when in reality all it seems to do is turn them away from Creationism.

The more educated someone is, especially in science, the less likely they are to believe in Creationism.

That is not a strawman, it is the truth.
