Your Vice President Joe Biden says you should avoid both planes and subways.
NBC New York: "I would not be at this point ... [be] suggesting they ride the subway," Biden said when asked whether he would advise family members to use public transportation.
Biden made his comments during a brief interview on NBC's "Today" show during an interview with Matt Lauer.
The vice president said if one person sneezes on a plane "it goes all the way through the aircraft."
Biden said the advice to his family differs from that of the federal government's to the public because, "That's me."
But you know, that's Joe Biden for ya! Always running his mouth, saying what's on his mind. So charming.

When Biden said Obama would be tested by a seroius incident in his first six months, little did he know it wopuld be himself. Bidens dufus prophecy is self-fulfilling....

Smarthgrowthers aren’t going to be happy to hear the VP telling people to remain safe in their OWN vehicles.
the problem is, americans generally believe that the VP sits in on meetings to hear issues such as the swine flue, and its possible ramifications.
one of two things happened here:
1) Knowing Biden’s history, another example of saying something that has no merit for existing;
2) he knee jerked and spoke of a truly catastrophic threat that is unknown to the general populace.
lets assume #2,....if you were in the president’s positions, and hearing dire news of possible 1 to 2 million americans dying over the summer,...how much info would you want to get out?
Well, i think its incumbent on the news industry that they ask these specific questions, rather than blathering with chattering cabinet secretaries,....and see what Obama says, because that will be his re-electable track record.
We need to get to the bottom of this and soon. It appears that Mexico wants all the infected citizens to stay home and die,...and then try to get back to normal.
We demand better.
