CONGRATULATIONS! We are now up to ALL 50 states plus D.C., 485 cities, and can document no less than 602,000 and as many as 680,000 patriots took place in the greatest grass roots act of defiance since 1773!

EVERY state in the Union protested Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.

You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Rapid City, SD had 2000 (I attended that one), Spearfish, SD had 1000 (reported in the Rapid City Journal)... There were Tea Parties in Glendive, MT and Glasgow, MT that largely went unreported on the National Tea Party lists and on this thread. As to numbers, I can’t say for certain as the media never bothered to report on those. So the numbers you and others have are misleading and actually higher than they appear to be.

I am in touch with the Glendive Ranger Review in Glendive, MT. They will be publishing a follow-up article on the TP there, and their rep has offered to send me the article, which will resolve the numbers problem for that city. I will post as soon as I receive it.

I have also contacted the the Glasgow Courier in Glasgow MT, but have not yet rec’d reply.

The Spearfish article I found said, “more than a hundred,” but didn’t give a hard number.

Many put Rapid City at 1500+

Received the Glasgow, MT attendance: 15 hardy souls in bad weather.

"Local people joined a nationwide tax protest Wednesday by staging a tax day TEA party in front of the Glasgow Post Office at noon. In spite of a chilly wind and some rain, about 15 people stood on the sidewalk in groups, waving to passing cars, who sometimes honked, and exchanging cheers with drivers." -by Samar Fay, Glasgow Courier editor

Thank you for your help Samar Fay and Glasgow Courier!

Thanks again Henchster and everyone else for all the work. We will reach 1,000,000 once every city has been counted. There are still way too many not on the list.

Here is one more.

Floresville (Wilson County), TX - 300-600 Some estimates from Floresville go as high as 600 Its twitter, and the only thing I can find online at present.

Also, in your next update, please correct the following city names under Texas:

Gilmore = Gilmer

Rockwell = Rockwall

There are still some cities remaining in Texas. I need to get back to my real job for a while, but will try and do some more searching later.

Waxahachie (Ellis County) - 60 Ellis County residents hold ‘tea party’ protest on tax day There was an evening protest as well. Don't have numbers for that yet.

From Pajamas TV running tally - There are some differences and new entries:

Pajamas TV Tax Day Tea Party Attendance Report

NEW ENTRIES

Uvalde, TX - 150

Hurst, TX - 300

Lockhart, TX - 300

Meridian, TX - 400

UPGRADES

Caldwell (Burleson County) - (NOTE Burleson (city) is in Tarrant/Johnson County,Burleson COUNTY is in SE Texas) - 300

Pearland - 455

Georgetown - 1000

Southlake - 1000

Conroe - 1300

El Paso - 1500

Denton - 2500

Austin - 5500

San Antonio 16,000

I only did Texas cities. If anyone has time, it might be worthwhile cross checking this spreadsheet against Henchster's list for other states. These were submitted by event goers from their respective events. The upgrade numbers are probably a little inflated, but helpful to balance the media's low ball numbers in some cases. Use these as you see fit.

NO more TAXES - I’m BROKE!!!!

STOP the subsidies, crony handouts, pet projects, frivolous projects, protected cartels (lavish public unions) spending!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you got some info from Glasgow! I can attest to Samar Fay being very nice to talk to on the phone and very accomodating with requests and article submissions. I’ve had a few letters to the editor published in the Courier in the past both for local and national politics.
