"Every year, you know, Sen. Edward Kennedy is nominated for his, you know, statesmanship and leadership on the most, you know, pressing issues facing out nation," said Caroline Kennedy, president of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. "His passionate advocacy on behalf of, you know, civil rights, human rights, you know, voting rights, economic, social and, you know, environmental justice and his long battle to achieve, you know, quality affordable health care for all Americans are, you know, each deserving of an award."There....fixed it.

How fitting. An award based on the title of a ghost-written book fraudulently ascribed to his brother, by his niece, who has nothing better to do with her life since her Senate bid got squashed by the blind NY Goobernator, in a venue named for his brother.
Kinda sums up this loser's miserable existence. Thanks Ted, for nothing, you dirtbag. You can die now.
(Was I nice enough?)

You must understand how much guts (and we all can see what a pile he has) it takes to dress a naked dead girl in the front seat of a Lincoln under 18 feet of saltwater!I hear it's even harder in an Oldsmobile.

Sen. Kennedy Receives Profiles In Courage AwardWhat was it awarded for?
Was it awarded for swimming back to his hotel after missing the last ferry from Chappaquidick while leaving Mary Joe to die a slow and horrible death?
Well done Ted, I'm sure you are proud!

Sure took a lot of courage to leave a young woman to die in his car.

I'm not completely convinced he didn't have some help "murdering" Mary Jo Kopechne. I don't think the powers that be wanted to assassinate a third Kennedy, but they sure could damage him in other ways to intimidate him.
I'd say the odds are just as good that he was set up as that he murdered her. I've read enough not to be convinced EITHER way. However, his pro-abortion stance is enough that he should be very scared of dying. :(

Read the first sentence and figured it was scrappleface..and saw no /s tag. Maybe a Mad Magazine story.

“The most courageous thing Ted Kennedy could have ever done would have been to disappear from public sight 2 days after he watched Ms. Kopechne drown and stay disappeared.”
The propaganda at the time was he was too valuable to government to have him resign in disgrace. That it was sacrifice enough that he would never become President. Instead, he would spend his life in the Senate doing good work for the peoples. I kid you not—that was what was spewed from Dem leaders and repeated in the media at the time.....
