Your post is out of line since it is out of context. By Alaska Law, she had to choose between a hard core liberal ex-hippie judge and a typical liberal. So she went with the lesser of two evils, the typical liberal.

The failure here was the process. The Alaska Supreme Court is picked by a slate of mostly left-wing lawyers to hand it over to the governor. The governor must pick from the list of evils. Palin picked her poison. Choice C wasn't an option.
